The idea
I’m a huge fan of Alice in Chains, and I really wanted to record a cover of their song “Them Bones”.

The goal
Create a high quality cover video of the song with striking visuals and well mixed audio for the purpose of being uploaded to my social media accounts.

Outcome
I performed, recorded, and edited the video all myself. Multiple camera angles were recorded to make the visuals more engaging than a static video. Audio was recorded with Reaper, and video was edited on Adobe Premiere Pro. I mixed and mastered all the audio manually, using industry standard techniques such as gain staging, EQ, reverb, compression, and more. All the video was touched up in post and spliced together with the multi-cam feature in Adobe Premiere Pro. Metadata was also encoded into the video for each social media it was uploaded to.
